Janice Dean the Weather Machine

Hello!

Hi everyone!

I know I’m late with blogging today.    It’s been one of those mornings where I feel like I have so much to do, and yet nothing is getting done!  Have you ever had one of those days??  Promise to give you an update on the forecast, and other fun stuff still to come!

Take your time JD it’s one of those mornings here too.

Now if only I can get all 10 of my thumbs to function I’d be all set! ;-)

Yep I have had days like that…

Today I am just tired….exhausted like someone pumped fatigue into my viens…And I dont think any amount of coffee is going to rid that feeling…

Comment by Janice Dean

I know that feeling well Dawn! I had a nice nap when I got home today :)

I totally feel like you Janice!!!
Since I came back, I haven’t been able to concentrate on anything; not sure if it is because of the jetlag – although not that strong traveling westards – or because of the alergies or whatever.
I was up til 3 in the morning yesterday, trying to clean and organize things…but didn’t acccomplish much :D

I did send you pictures of my trip that were on my cell phone, not much about nature though (I’m sure you would love mother nature on lake Como) and nothing at night cause my phone camera was not too good (all the momuments in Rome-by-night came out blurry :D ).

Love all the pictures posted on your blog because they are all so different.
I love the one with the big clouds from Magie.
I have this weird fascination for clouds and any kind of skies as long as they are not solid grey/white or foggy.
Could contemplate them for hours!

At least it is beautiful here in NY!!!

Really laughing at this one….you just described my life! Every day I get up behind and am even farther behind when I go to bed. Hate to tell you this, but the older I get the worse it gets! What’s up with that?!
Hopefully you’ll get everything done that needs to get done today!
As for Seattle weather…no pictures but Saturday was cruel! A perfect day! But it was only one day! Sunday the temps dropped 30 degrees and it’s back to cold and rainy. Oh well, made the most of that one perfect day by going on a long walk!

Comment by Janice Dean

Hey Lynn! Glad I’m not alone. I didn’t get half of what I wanted to accomplish today EXCEPT a good nap this afternoon! Temperature roller coaster! It’s been wacky this spring!

JD…..

Just remember…… We’ll weather the weather, whatever the weather, whether we like it or not.”
Hope this put a smile on your face. I wish I could have joined in for the chance to win the trip to NYC, but I don’t think my news director would have liked that very much. Just wanted to let you know I just got notice that my “Don’t be a Pinhead” shirt from O’Reilly shipped today. I will send you a picture when I get it. Tell O’Reilly you should model some of his shirts and hats.

By the way I ended up getting 6″ of snow last weeks storm here in Denver. Today it is approaching 80 and should be snowing by tomorrow evening. I think we are looking at 2-4 or 3-6 with this storm as well. You can quote me on that on air if you want.

One other thing, I am looking into participating in the MS150 this summer. Do you have a site that people can sponsor you and donate to your cause?

I like that saying Sunny! I can’t wait to see your Don’t be a Pinhead shirt! Wow. 80 degrees today and snow tomorrow! You guys see everything in one day! ;) As for the MS 150, you can check out Scott’s blog which I posted today further up in the posts and you can donate there! Thank you Sunny!

Morning Goddess,

Glad you are back :)

I actually had one of those mornings as well. Left a couple of meetings wondering what we met about, LOL :)

Hang in there, it gets better.

I didn’t get much done today…but there’s always tomorrow right?

Hey Janice,

I can definitely relate to days like you’re having. I’ve had some days that go by quickly, but at the end of the day I wonder what did I get done all day. Then there are days like today where certain people suck the life out of you, but then someone beautiful comes along and breathes life back in. Those kinds of people make it worthwhile.

I’ve seen a number of comments about my cloud picture so I’ll have to send some more. I’ll let you get caught up, however, because I sent some other pictures over the past couple days and I don’t want to overwhelm you. That picture of the clouds I took was the day after we had a tornado in the area. I didn’t go out that day because the sky was green and debris was flying everywhere. I’m not like those storm chasers that go out searching for crazy weather. I stay inside my nice strong house. Thankfully Western Maryland doesn’t get too many tornados, but they’re pretty scary when they do come. The storm that developed after I took that picture was “only” a severe thunderstorm and nothing more. I think there were 3 or 4 days in a row where we had nasty storms. Hopefully we won’t have anything like that this summer.

I hope everyone has a great day and that the weather warms up/cools off/dries out/winds die down wherever you are!
