Maine is one of my favorite states.

I used to work with a woman whose father was the postmaster on a small island just off the coast of Maine. He began work at 6 AM and by noon his workday was over. There simply wasn’t anything else to do. I think the island population was about 1,000.

Love the Destin picture. I’ve spent many a fun vacation there. Destin is the prettiest beach I’ve ever been to. It has the whitest sand and clearest water of any of the Gulf Coast beaches I’ve checked out. When my hubby and I walked on Waikiki, I told him that it wasn’t as pretty as Destin. This one reminded me I need to plan a short vacation before the end of the Summer. Wish I was there now!

The rainbow pic from Maine looks like a beautiful sunset in Hawaii, i saw something similar in a postcard once.
