Snow in October!
These were taken by one of our producers (and one of the nicest guys here at FOX!) Clint Henderson on his ranch in Montana this past weekend. Parts of Montana received over 40 inches of snow in an early season storm. Doesn’t it look pretty though? Clint almost didn’t make it back to work this week, and you can see why! My favorite picture is the deer, and Clint’s dad in shorts!!

This is amazing…and if I’m not mistaken, Doesn’t Clint have on shorts???
Oh my mistake, Clint’s dad is wearing the shorts during a blizzard..ha
(I have wore flips flops. but never shorts!!)
Clint’s dad is a brave one!
Hey Janice,
I don’t know if the snow looks pretty, but it sure does look cold! Actually, it is pretty but I don’t want to think about snow this early. Clint’s dad in his shorts reminds me of an incident a number of years ago before I bought my house. I looked out the window of my apartment and there was a guy out next door shoveling snow in shorts and a t-shirt! I guess he was trying to be macho but I thought it was kind of dumb. I like the picture of the deer, too. With all that snow, they have to work harder to find food. Thanks for sharing these with us. Now I can be thankful I don’t live in an area that gets snow like this so early in the season!

I always get chills seeing folks do the “polar bear plunge” into freezing cold water every year!
I knew a girl in High School who could walk in the snow barefoot or even on a hot road in the middle of summer, and it never seemed to bother her. Just don’t touch her feet, the kicks and screams could hurt you…lol
If you haven’t seem this yet, you should really go read it. The Rev. Jessie Jackson is talking American policy in France.

It’s also on the FOX.com front page.

The area that got the roughly 40 inches of snow was just NE of the NE corner of Yellowstone … It’s not unusual for the Inter-Mountain West to get snow this early …
Even stranger … A lot of people run around in shorts in the “Seattle / Portland” area when it snows … LOL It just depends on if there’s a lot of snow on the ground (which tends to insulate the ambient temperature) or if it’s full-fledge blizzard time …
My friends and I are hoping for a white Halloween … LOL
I’ve trick-or-treated in many a white Halloween!
Always looks nice on a screen or in a movie or on a tv show. As long as it doesnt do it to where I have to bundle up and get dressed. I’m OK with it lol.
hi janice im kyle a weather fan of yours from warm humid ILLINOIS i wish it would get cold its too warm for thus time in october and happy halloween by the way i hope you have a super duper one are ya dressing up for halloween? what are ya gonna be? will you wear your costume on tv on halloween?

Hey Kyle! Thanks for joining in. Maybe I will be a pumpkin this halloween to hide my growing little pumpkin already in progress!
Good morning everyone. Our weather forecast for today is partly sunny with a high of 75. So what is it like outside? It’s 100% cloudy with some drizzle! Oh well, maybe it will improve. It only got down to 62 degrees last night so at least I didn’t feel cold when I got up.
I hope Saturday’s mostly sunny forecast holds up because I’m planning on taking a fall foliage photo excursion on some of the back roads of Allegany County. We still don’t have widespread color but there are some places up in the mountains that are pretty colorful. Since everyone seems to enjoy my pictures, I’ll keep sending them in!
I hope everyone has a great day.
Margie
