Our weather forecast for today is partly sunny with a high of 75. So what is it like outside? It's 100% cloudy with some drizzle! Oh well, maybe it will improve. It only got down to 62 degrees last night so at least I didn't feel cold when I got up. I hope Saturday's mostly sunny forecast holds up because I'm planning on taking a fall foliage photo excursion on some of the back roads of Allegany County. We still don't have widespread color but there are some places up in the mountains that are pretty colorful. Since everyone seems to enjoy my pictures, I'll keep sending them in! It's not unusual for the Inter-Mountain West to get snow this early ... Even stranger ... A lot of people run around in shorts in the "Seattle / Portland" area when it snows ... LOL It just depends on if there's a lot of snow on the ground (which tends to insulate the ambient temperature) or if it's full-fledge blizzard time ... My friends and I are hoping for a white Halloween ...
