Margie,

You're too much! Ha! :)

Peppermint Patty is a good one, and we had not thought of pine cones, pins, pumpernickel,
or plastics. The others are on the list in some form or another. I'll put the frozen peas in
a plastic bag tomorrow. The paint set is in there with a paintbrush. He loves pickles so we'll
put one of those in there - he can eat it after the presentation. My wife buys those nasty
butter something or other pickles rather than dill. Yuck!

Lots of great ideas and fun postings. Thanks for joining in the fun!

Hey Tony,

Peppermint schnapps probably isn't a good idea, but how about a peppermint patty? Pickles just came to mind, too, but that may be a little messy. I just had my dinner, so I think my brain is getting back in gear. Here are a few others I just thought of: pine cone, pin, a "pet rock", paint set, pumpernickel bread, pinto bean, peas or pea soup, party hat, plastic, etc. Well, that's all for now. I'll see if anything else pops into my mind!

Ladies,

I love it! Lots of new words we had not thought of - powder, pistachio (one of my favorite
too and we do have some!), potato chips (ran out of those!), putty, parcheesi (don't have it!),
pineapple, petals, or paperback (we have LOTS of those but not the Hurricane of Independence
yet). Great job. My son loves maps so he got Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Pennsylvania quickly
and used pieces of his wooden puzzle and a refrigerator magnet for Independence Hall (I know,
I know, I'm a geek! :) ).

Keep 'em coming. I ruled out Pack of cigarettes (don't have any anyway!), Peppermint schnapps, and Potty because people would get upset. It is pre-school after all.

What can I say, that man of mine is just trying to be all he can be!! ;)

Just love those preschool/kinder projects!! How about pineapple, a plant, a present for the teacher (it's never too early to make points with the teacher, after all!), a paperback, peanuts, petals of a flower, silly putty, a pillow or a pretty picture???? I like the pasta idea too, Margie!

Have a great evening, Friends!

Hey Tony,

The first "p" word that came to mind was pistachio nuts. I guess that's because I like to eat! You probably already have powder, a penny, and potato chips on your list. How about Pepto Bismol? You might need that after you eat too many pistachio nuts! I guess a piano would be a little big to fit into a bag! Other things I can think of are penne pasta (or any pasta for that matter), pinking shears, picture frame (or just pictures), putty, and parcheesi (or a piece from the game, anyway). I can think of more than that but it's probably stuff you have already. This is a lot to ask of someone with already impaired brain cells, but maybe I came up with something you haven't thought of. Have fun!

Pink 1-2 lb. weights, huh? Now that's one manly-man! I wish I could lift that much!

Actually, I feel like a helpless baby. My wife is lifting everything, and my back almost
went completely out carrying my books and computer from the coffeehouse over to my
car. So, I've spent most of the day doing my stretches, back exercises, and crunches
on the floor. I'm helping my son with "p" words since his pre-school class is working on
words that begin with that letter and he has to fill a bag full of P stuff. We've got a list
of about 75 words. Do you think you could add to the list? Obviously nothing like penal
colony - just stuff you can find around the house. Let the contest begin!

Hey Gina,

As I read your post about your husband needing weights and that you had some, before I got to the rest of your post, I was thinking that they'd probably be pink! You'll have to take a picture of him working out with the hot pink dumbbells! I do hope he recovers quickly from his shoulder problem.

Hi Everyone.
Tony, you'll like this, given your current situation:
The hubby likewise is going to physical therapy for a problem shoulder, in fact he had an appointment this morning. He called me afterwards to tell me that he'd been shown some new exercises to be done with extremely light weights and wanted to know if I have some 1 or 2 lb. dumbbells. Well, in fact, I do, so he doesn't have to stop at a sporting goods store to get some; however, I haven't mentioned to him yet that they are hot pink in color!! LOL Hey, one of the secrets of my marriage is laughter - at least one of us will be laughing, right?!?!?!
Have a good afternoon, All.
