Great pictures, Janice! It looks like everyone had a great time and I’m so glad Megyn was surprised. I’m sure it was hard keeping that a secret but I’m glad it worked out. I would never have pictured Bill O’Reilly at a baby shower but that was really nice of him to come. Since you and the others put so much work into it, it’s great that everyone had a great time. I like the Fox News alert shirt–and it looks like Megyn got a kick out of it, too.

Looks like a really fun “star-studded” baby shower!

We just came in from the hot and humid morning. We have a shaded tennis court and got in a
tennis and football “clinic.” Too hot to add baseball this morning. Off to the pool soon before the
thunderstorms roll in this afternoon.

Heating up some homemade turkey gyros in pita bread for lunch. The turkey is an OK substitute
for lamb but still not as good as the real thing (don’t tell my wife!). I wish we could fry up some
french fries for the side, but potato chips substituted for that. Still, not a bad lunch! The kids aren’t
crazy about it so more for me!!!

Great pictures! Everybody looks like they’re having a wonderful time. How sweet of you ladies to do this for Megyn and Doug!!! I know it was really appreciated. I wish them the very best on this excellent adventure they’re embarking on.

Only three more and y’all will be caught up with me! Yikes!! You know it’s time to quit when they start coming in multiples!!! I thought my 3rd pregnancy would be my little girl, since I already had my 2 little boys. When it turned out to be 2 more boys, I just said, “OK, God, I get it. I’m not supposed to have a little girl and You want me to stop.” So I did. Now all these many years later, God has given me 2 precious, beautiful granddaughters. Oh yeah, He’s given me those 3 little grandsons to boot. How blessed am I!!!!

Hey everyone! Megyn here — I am SO THANKFUL to Janice, Mercedes, Julie and Megan Brown for putting on this amazing party for me and Doug and our little buddy! I was stunned. Completely. I truly believed we were going to a work function of Doug’s. He played it very cool (what a keeper he is — he loves surprising me). I am still looking at the presents in our apartment asking myself, “how did these get here? Did that really happen?”

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the beautiful friends and blessings in our lives and wish the same happiness for all of you. Especially Janice — who somehow finds the time to plan surprises like this, work a full-time career, and still be an amazing wife, mother of an infant, and good friend. She is an inspiration!

Thank you everyone for the good wishes and see you tomorrow at 9am EST!

We had a huge thunderstorm last night, albeit a brief one. Around 10:45 it poured for about 10-15 minutes with lightning and loud thunder. Both dogs wouldn’t leave the waterbed. The neighbors rain gauge registered over an inch in that short period. Hot and humid today with a slight chance of more storms tonight. I hope all are doing well. JB

Why am I not surprised that our Weather Machine was able to pull this off? It’s great that you were able to enlist help from your Fox family members Mercedes, Julie and Megan my hat is off to all of you ladies.

I can’t speak about Doug, but I will trust in Megyn’s instincts. Although I feel that Megyn and Doug will be wonderful parents, plus it doesn’t hurt that Megyn is from the Tri-Cities as well.

On the weather front, it’s hot, hot, and hot. We officially have 3 triple digit days in the 7 day forecast, and my hubby and baby boy will be out in it for 2 of them. Kyle is now officially a Cub Scout and goes to his first day camp next week. He is soooo excited. He’s been waiting for this for 4 years since he watched his big brother do it.

I had my weekly OB appointment this morning. He said that my blood sugar levels look great, baby looks great on the ultrasound, and see ya in 2 weeks. I also got a prescription for a pain killer that is safe since I had a splitting headache for 3 days that Tylenol couldn’t get rid of. I just didn’t want to be a pest and call in for it since I knew I was going in today.

In weather related news in the OV, nice day, warm aprox 80, but as I enter this text into the blog, it’s overcast and looks like rain………… Had to be the a/c on just to cool things off, which is good on one hand, but on the other hand…… haha!

I am so happy that Megyn is pregnant. When I heard the news I just shouted. We just love Megyn and Bill. Everyone was having a wonderful time. I hope you and Doug have many blessings to come.

Megyn is so special, so sweet and wonderful, and if I can’t watch FOX News too much during the day, I always make sure I watch the show with Megyn and Bill. What a wonderful team!!!!!!!!!!!
