Getting flustered with the Army Drill Team!
by Janice Dean
Hey everyone! One of the awesome producers of Fox and Friends weekend, (and good pal) Samantha Lamarca took this picture of moi along with the Army Drill Team when I worked on Saturday…I have to admit, when I was doing the weather with these handsome men all around me, I was a little tongue tied. I love a man in uniform!

Were you blushing JD?
I agree on the uniform thang! Woweee!
Janice
I saw you all gah gah last weekend. Do you know is that the drill team from Ft Meyers at Arlington Cemetery? It wasn’t the normal uniform from there so I don’t think it was but perhaps the uniform is different when they travel. 94 here now

Just found the time to read the blog. Your friend is in my prayers.
So thats why you married a fireman all about the uniform to you.
Janice, I’m sure that each member of this drill team was thrilled to meet “Janice Dean: The Weather Machine”!
Great picture Janice!!!
HI everyone.
Nice picture JD.
I’m sure the guys were all trying to impress you, then they found out you were happily married.
What a big day in the world it has been. Farrah Fawcett passes away, and it’s gotten swept under the news cycle once Michael Jackson mania took over. It’s pretty amazing to see how many of his fans have came out all over. He is our modern day Elvis and will live on forever. As one person said tonight believe it was on FoxNews his estate will go on and earn hundreds of millions of dollars much like Elvis’s estate earned much more once he died long as it has careful management. Michael Jackson has finally found peace. His only home was on stage in my opinion.
On weather related news it was sunny, bright, quite breezy in the OV. No I didn’t go bike riding today, I was lazy.
In the Toronto area it poured rain.
Good morning everybody!
I was so busy at work yesterday that I didn’t have time to check in. That’s not normal for a Thursday, but it was what it was.
We’re supposed to have some cooler weather this weekend…I think the high tomorrow will only be 97. Wow…I may have to break out a sweater…….NOT! I have refrained from complaining about the weather for several days now. That’s one thing I can’t control, so I try just to cope with it. It’ll be October soon, and we can breathe again.
George, I read your comment about Miami Vice on the other thread. One of my all time favorite shows. I loved Don Johnson. He was so cool, and the only one (in my opinion) who’s ever looked good with that day-old beard look. The music on that show was fabulous!! Lots of Glenn Frey and Phil Collins. Nothing that good now on network TV, IMO.
I guess I’m supposed to be sad that MJ and Farrah have both passed away. Truthfully…while I hate it for their families, I feel no sense of loss over either of these two. I was not a particular fan of either. We buried our friend, Mike, last week from cancer; and he was only 57. My heart hurts for his family. As far as these celebrity deaths go, I have no real emotion connected to them.
JD, I understand that love for a man in uniform. Amen, sister. Be it dress blues, BDU’s, flight suits or whatever. Men in uniform are so sexy!
Camping weekend coming up…will be leaving work early. I’ll let y’all know how this adventure goes.
