Hey Janice,

This sounds like another case of blaming someone else for your own problems! People always look for someone else to blame when something goes wrong. I hope you don’t get hounded by all the grumpy people with overheated iPhones! You’d think they’d make the things to withstand hot temperatures but I guess they didn’t think of that. Your bloggers will support you if you get blamed for this!

Hey Janice,

I recall Apple’s ipods over heating and smoking due to the battery becoming too hot. Feel your cell phone immediately after having a long conversation, it feels quite warm. This is a common problem with all battery operated devices including the iphone.

So I guess hot weather could contribute to this problem, but I agree with Margie, they are looking to place blame elsewhere instead of with their poor design.

My family has 7 of these updated versions and so far no problems.

Apple is absolutely right to blame the weather for the over-heating of their new iPhones.

As we all know, it is the weather forecasters who create our weather. That’s why weather forecasters in California make the really big bucks!

Ergo, and ipso facto, Janice Dean The Weather Machine and her ilk are the real culprits. Blame them for any and all problems with the weather — and with the new iPhones. Twenty lashes with a wet noodle for each and every weather forecaster in North America — except in California!

Wait until winter comes to the Midwest and Northeast. When temps drop to 40 below zero and the wind-chill factor is 70 below, Apple iPhones will be totally useless. Their users will be borrowing change from everyone to use pay phones. Just wait and see!

BTW, Janice, how do you like my use of Latin terms. I did not go to Catholic schools without learning something!

Oh geez, didn’t they read the fine print? Says to only use this high tech iPhone in the winter :) hugs to Matthew

Yeah… global warming…as it is 59 degrees in the Blue Ridge tonight….and I am wearing a fleece vest!!
Cry me a River! Blah Blah Blah…I smell Al Gore in this report$$$$$$$$$$$$
sorry Apple find something else to blame…ah, perhaps an internal hiccup! how thoughtful.
Amen to you Margie! Give me a break!

agreed! no one likes to take responsibility…they just want to point the finger at someone (or in this case someTHING) else.
